Contacting your Local Traffic Commissioner

As part of your obligations of holding an Operator’s Licence (O Licence) it is necessary for you to record all changes, for example to:

  • add more vehicles to your licence
  • increase the vehicle limit on your licence
  • changes to Company Directors
  • add or remove a Transport Manager
  • change your licence type
  • give up (‘surrender’) your licence

You can update and make changes to your licence record online, which is usually the quickest way.

If you need to send correspondence by mail, make sure you have the correct address.
